Standing Rules
- The Bellevue Women’s 9-Hole Golf Club is an all-volunteer run, handicap club. It is not a teaching club.
- MEMBERSHIP is open to all women who are available to play competitive golf on Thursday mornings from early spring until late fall at the Bellevue Golf Course. You must have the skills to play 9 holes in the 75-or-less range consistently.
- HANDICAPS: You will receive a handicap after scores for 54 holes are entered in the GHIN system. You can compete in the Weekly Competition and tournaments only after you enter your scores in GHIN and it gives you a handicap.
- RULES: You must know and understand the Basic Rules of Golf as established by the USGA and shall govern all play.
- MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS will be held in March and September or at the discretion of the officers.
- TEE TIMES usually range from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. SignUp Genius will be used to sign up for future tee times.
You may sign up for a tee time one week in advance for yourself and only ONE other member. - CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel your tee time by midnight the Wednesday before play, there will be no penalty. After that, or if you are a no-show, you may be charged $10 by the Bellevue Golf Course. The fee is waived if the course is deemed unplayable by the golf course management and a member of our executive board. Show up or call on Thursday morning to find out whether the course is playable.
- DUES: Membership dues are set annually by the Board and includes your dues to the Washington State Golf Association (WSGA), which provides GHIN service. Dues must be paid prior to being added to the Club roster and signing up for Thursday morning tee time during Club play.
- RULE QUESTIONS: If in doubt about a situation or rule while playing, note your question and consult “USGA RULES OF GOLF” or one of the Bellevue golf pros. You may play two parallel scores for the hole in question until the rule is clarified at the clubhouse.
