Bellevue Women's 9-Hole Golf Club

Ready Golf Guidelines

Scoring

  • Each hole has a 10-stroke maximum. After 10 strokes, pick up your ball and record 10 strokes/3 putts. You still stay in the competition.
  • Whiffs count as 1 stroke.

Playing

  • Keep up with the group ahead.
  • Carry extra tees, markers, an extra ball and a divot repair tool in your pocket.
  • Try to track everyone’s shots. This saves time looking for balls.
  • Plan your next shot as you approach your ball.  DO NOT wait until you get there.
  • Be ready to make your shot when it is your turn.
  • Leave your clubs or cart on the side of the green towards the next tee.
  • Line up your putt while others are putting – without disturbing them.
  • “Hole out” your putt – if you can do so without disturbing the “line” of another’s putt.
  • If your group is behind, the first two people who hole out can move ahead to the next hole while the other two are finishing up.
  • After finishing a hole, go to the next tee before recording your score.

You are out of position if:

  • On a Par 3, the group in front of you has left the green when you arrive at the tee.
  • On a Par 4, the group in front of you is on the green when you reach the tee.
  • On a Par 5, the group in front of you is approaching the green when you reach the tee.
